E. Kelly Keady is an associate attorney with Biersdorf & Associates and is licensed in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Mr. Keady received his undergraduate degree and his J.D. degree from St. Louis University. He graduated cum laude with a degree in Political Science and French and spent a year studying abroad at the Universite d’Orleans, in Orleans, France.
While pursuing his law degree, Kelly competed in the European Union Moot Court Competition Finals in Dublin, Ireland. He started his career as a law clerk on the Missouri Court of Appeals and later transitioned into the area of eminent domain law when he began working for Biersdorf & Associates in 1993. He is currently a trial lawyer licensed in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin where he exclusively practices eminent domain law.
The majority of Kelly’s cases originate in Wisconsin where he has built a solid reputation through successful litigation. In addition to Wisconsin, Kelly regularly litigates eminent domain cases in Minnesota and Iowa where he has handled cases involving all types and sizes of properties.
He has represented clients ranging from New York to California and expanded condemnation rights in appellate cases such as Spiegelberg v. State, 291 Wis.2d 601, 717 N.W.2d 641 (2006); and The Landings LLC v. City of Waupaca, 703 N.W.2d 689 (Wis.Ct.App 2005)pet. rev. denied November 11, 2005.

In his spare time, Kelly spends time with his family and is also the author of the well known book, The Cross of St. Maro.
